Big day for JUGAAD! The Indiegogo campaign has launched! πŸŽ‰

Hey there!

I've got some big news! Today's the day. Jugaad's Indiegogo campaign has officially launched!! I'm raising money and awareness to distribute my first independent feature length documentary!  πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

The month-long campaign is two things: fundraising and advertising. Both rely on community, social media and word of mouth. If you'd like to donate, that would be amazing! If you can't donate, no biggie! I won't hold it against you, promise. If you want to help without spending a dime, you can forward this email, or a link to my website, or the Indiegogo campaign page, to everyone you know, especially those who might appreciate learning about Jugaad.

Here's the link to my sparkly new campaign page (click here), complete with a video that includes the trailer and yours truly talking about the film. You can also see the breakdown of costs, meet the team, check out the perks and click on links to share the campaign page on various social media streams. Please check it out!

It's taken a long time to get here, to this sweet spot where I have a finished film that I love, that has my name and my stamp on it, that I can send to festivals and pitch to broadcasters. I'm really excited! It's been a long personal, professional and artistic journey full of challenges and growth. But I can tell you this: I did not get here with no help. Jugaad is the product of a whole lotta help from a whole lotta people, including peers, mentors, family and friends like yourselves. And by "help" I mean people gave their time, energy, creativity and money to get Jugaad to the finish line. I've always thought it takes a village to make a film. Now I know it takes a village to make it shine in the world too!

So I'm calling on you, fierce and loving supporters, to help a sister out and join me on my quest to get Jugaad out into the world! Not only are you helping launch the film. You're also helping an independent filmmaker make it in this competitive world, get to her next project and make the world a more interesting, thoughtful and bearable place. Because that's what art does!

Thank you for your support, in whichever form it comes!

With love and much jugaad,

Susannah
